Hi my pc has been making a beeping noise while its running windows. It is not the same noise beep that my pc makes when i turn it on its a lot lower and when it beeps my pc freezes for about 10 seconds then comes back to normal. I have also tried reseating the ram, ive checked to make sure my Hard drive was healthy. Any ideas on what this could be?
My specs Amd Phenom 2 x4 925 oc to 3.5ghz - Water cooled temps under load are 40c Nvidia GTX 660 SC - idle temp is 30c under load its 60c 8gb of ram

can you try to find out where the beep is coming from? does it happen once right before it shuts off or is the beep constant

guys, after the computer has been running for at least 30 minutes, stick your hands into the running case (carefully of course) and feel the air around the CPU area, does it feel stagnant and considerably warm?

My CPU isn't that hot. I've noticed in many others posts, related to the same problem, that they say it's because of the mouse and replacing it with a new one resolved their problem. So i bought a new mouse but still i keep getting that noise. I also disconnected the keyboard and mouse, just to check, but still i keep getting that beep noise. So in my case i think the problem is not with the mouse or keyboard.

check the manufacturers website of the motherboard for downloads (make sure its for your exact model motherboard or you could damage it forever).
